The US Road Trip
On April 6th, we will be saying goodbye to our friends in California, packing up Mindy’s little Ford, and beginning a 3 and 1/2 week road trip across the country. Some stops include Flagstaff, the Grand Canyon, Denver, Oklahoma City, Indianapolis, Cincinnati, Virginia, Northern Ohio, Fort Wayne, and Tampa.
We’ll be flying to Ecuador on April 30th!
A Trek Around the World
May – August 2013, Ecuador and Peru
During these three months of hanging out on the equator, we will be spending the bulk of our time volunteering with different Wwoofing Farming projects near Quito, Ecuador. We also will be spending two weeks in the Galapagos Islands (where Mindy will finally get to see Galapagos Tortoises in person!) and three weeks in Peru, hanging with Joe, Lindsay, Steve and Chris V. and hiking the Inca Trail to Machu Picchu!
August – October 2013, South Africa and Tanzania
Over these few months, we will be spending time visiting Cape Town, South Africa, taking a train to Victoria Falls, and volunteering in Tanzania. We are also hoping to climb Mt. Kilimanjaro and visit the Ngorongoro Crater!
November 2013, Nepal
We will spending the month of November doing a long-term trek through the Annapurna region as well as visiting Kathmandu, Chitwan National Park, and Lumbini, the birthplace of Buddha.
December 2013, India
We will be spending Christmas in and around New Delhi, India visiting the Taj Mahal, hiking some of the beautiful northern areas, and enjoying immersing ourselves in a different culture.
January 2014, Thailand
To start off the new year, we will be spending our time touring Thailand before splitting up for the month of February.
Chris – February 2014, Thailand
Chris will be spending February sequestered away for four weeks at a Kung Fu Monastery practicing his meditation and martial arts skills.
Mindy – February 2014, Thailand
Mindy is bumming around northern Thailand. She is spending the month doing some trekking, cooking, and volunteering with Elephants and Dogs.
March – April 2014, New Zealand and Australia
We will be reunited in New Zealand where we will again be trekking and spending our time hiking the beautiful hut trails. We will also be taking a jaunt over to Australia to check out the Sydney Opera House!

Um, Guam!!!
Haha, don’t worry PJ, we are still definitely planning on visiting! We will have to chat later this year about dates and such.

You guys need a map showing where you are and sites you are going to see. Kinda like a Where’s Waldo or a treasure or Candy saga map. I know most of the places but don’t think I could point them out on a map. Use a lot of pictures too for us old folkes. So glad u 2 are able to do this while u r young, if u wait for retirement it may not happen. have fun and post daily. Its fun seeing what u two are up to. Love, Uncle Wes
